From RATCHET to RIGHTEOUS (with a little bit of lingering ratchet).

I never get tired of telling this story because it’s real, it’s who I am and it’s how God has shown Himself through me. I was a hot mess at one point of my life. Your typical girl from the block who didn’t know her value and acted like it. I was hurting and looking for love, so I didn’t care who I hurt or tore down in my own search for saving. I sought out relationships that had no accountability or connection because I was trying to protect myself, and I hid my pain behind a bottle and tried to dance it away at the clubs. I was lost....

But God!

 He spoke to me, called me out and reminded me that I belonged to Him. He eased my pain, and showed me my worth. It wasn’t an overnight change and it wasn’t easy. But it has sure been worth it!

I don’t mind telling these things, because maybe as you read this it reminds you of yourself and/or someone you know. If so, I pray that my life can be a glimmer of hope for you. To know that the same God that changed my life can change yours too. He loves you. He cares for you, and He wants to see you whole again.
